Marine Cottage is a charming semi-detached weatherboarded cottage. It is full of character and enjoys glorious sea views from the two double bedrooms and is just a stone’s throw from the beach.
As well as offering comfortable accommodation, it has a charming sunny garden off the lounge with patio furniture and two benches, perfect for evening drinks or dinner. There is also a sweet smaller courtyard off the kitchen with a bistro table and chairs - perfect for morning coffee for two.
Ground Floor:
The garden gate entrance takes you through the small courtyard garden with bistro table and chairs, into the kitchen via the stable door. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle. There is a lovely dining area with table and five chairs and walls adorned with fabulous locally inspired art work.
The family bathroom is off the kitchen and has a bath and overhead shower, basin and wc.
Walk through the dining area to the lounge with its big comfy sofa, two occasional chairs and coffee table. Lots of artwork again adorn the walls and there is a flat screen TV with Sky TV. Stable doors take you out from the lounge into lovely outside garden where you can sit enjoy the sunshine with a cuppa on the two benches, or dine at the patio table and chairs.
First Floor:
The stairs to the first floor are a little steep so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
There is a lovely furnished master bedroom with a king size bed, bedside unit with lamp, bench seating, armchair, dressing table with drawers and wardrobe with hanging space. But the best part of this room is the view of the sea from your bed.
Across the landing is a sweet single bedroom with single bed, chest of drawers with bedside lamp and a second chest of drawers.
Second Floor:
Again the stairs are a little steep to the second floor so not ideal for those with mobility issues. This charming room with gorgeous sea views has a double bed, with bedside cabinet and lamp, hanging rail with shelf underneath.
Just across the landing is a dressing room with small sofa, mirror with hanging and a small chest of drawers.
