This fabulous and unique 4 bedroom detached house has bags of seaside charm and is located right on the beach overlooking The Street at Tankerton Beach next to Beacon House. The house enjoys extensive sea views and offers a rare opportunity to stay in one of the most enviable locations in Whitstable.
The house is only a short walk along the beach to the Harbour with its fish markets and cafe and a 15 minute walk to Harbour Street with its bustling shops and restaurants.
This pretty house is approached by foot or car along Tankerton Promenade. Steps lead from the promenade up to the beautiful covered porch and the entrance to the hallway.
The house offers very comfortable and spacious accommodation. It has stripped wooded floors upstairs and downstairs and has been simply decorated and furnished throughout. What gives this house its unique charm, is that every window at the front of the house brings in streams of light and frames the perfect picture sea scape.
The hallway leads to the traditional kitchen/breakfast room at the rear of the house which is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, electric oven and gas hob, large larder cupboard and wood burner. There is also a small pine kitchen table and 4 chairs.
Doors then lead through to the dining room with its Ercol dining table and 8 chairs, sea views and an extensive library of books and games for your enjoyment during your stay.
The lounge offers a charming space to relax and enjoy the open fire in the winter, or the sun streaming through the windows in the summer. The lounge is furnished with two 3 seat sofas, 2 occasional chairs, TV with DVD player and a baby grand piano! There are French doors leading to patio and garden.
The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a bath with overhead shower, basin and wc. There is an additional wc adjacent to the bathroom.
There is a downstairs bedroom for those with mobility issues. The bedroom overlooks the pretty garden and is furnished with a super-king bed, built in wardrobe, bedside table and corner wash basin.
There is a lovely garden to the side of the house where you can relax in the sunshine or enjoy alfresco dining. The uniqueness of Kiora is its direct access to the beautiful Tankerton beach and Street and its stunning sunsets.
There are two spacious double bedrooms on the first floor. The west bedroom enjoys extensive sea views and is furnished with a king size bed, built in wardrobe, large pine wardrobe with full length mirror, chest of drawers, bedside tables with lamps and a wash basin.
The double bedroom on the east side is again a very spacious room with extensive sea views and is furnished with a super-king size bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps and a corner wash basin.
There is a small twin room, again with extensive sea views and furnished with two 3' single beds, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and a corner wash basin.
There is one private parking space directly in front of the house on Tankerton Promenade. Access and keys to the promenade gate will be given on check in. Alternative parking is available on Marine Parade.
Dogs are welcome for an additional fee of £15. However, under no circumstances are dogs permitted upstairs or on the sofa or chairs. Dogs must not be left unattended in properties, or elsewhere and should be exercised outside the property gardens or grounds. If you do not adhere to these conditions, some of the cautionary deposit may be retained by the owner.
This is a strictly non-smoking property.
As per our Booking Conditions we ask all guests to be respectful of the neighbours, as all of the holiday homes are located in residential areas. We are aware that you may be celebrating a special event during your stay, but ask again that you are respectful of local residents especially with regard to noise levels. Please also note that we do not accept hen or stag parties at this property.
The number of people using the holiday property is not to exceed the maximum number stated. This includes entertaining friends who are not on the guest list over to the property during your stay without prior consent from the Owner. Whitstable Holiday Homes Ltd and the Owner reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if the maximum number is not observed and in such a case no refund will be given.
Children under 2 years are not normally counted for this purpose.
RENTAL PERIODS: Weekly rentals from Friday - Friday during school holidays. Weekend and mid-week breaks available in low and shoulder seasons.
PRICE INCLUDES: Linen and Towels, Winter Heating, Logs for the fire in Winter, WiFi and all utilities
