We had a lovely week in Beachcomber Cottage for October half term. The cottage is like a Tardis...it’s incredibly spacious, comfortable and really well kitted out. The garden is a lovely little haven and the house itself is in a brilliant location....just a few minutes stroll to the high street and the beach. Despite being half term and busy the road is incredibly quiet and peaceful. A fantastic cottage in a great location...perfect for a family or two families to spend some time together in beautiful Whitstable.

Accommodation Details

This charming four bedroom mid-terraced home offers very comfortable and spacious accommodation and has been tastefully decorated throughout.

It has the benefit of two doubles, one twin and one single bedrooms, a family bathroom downstairs and a shower room and wc on the second floor, plus a delightful enclosed courtyard .

The house is located in the conservation area, just 2 minutes walk from Whitstable's shops, restaurants and beach.

Ground Floor:
The front door leads you into a good size lounge with wooden floors, open fireplace, a 3 and 2 seat sofa and occasional chair.

The large dining room has a wooden table with bench seat and two chairs and sideboard. It leads through to the galley kitchen which has a gas hob and oven, microwave, washer/dryer and large fridge/freezer.

Then walk through to the downstairs bathroom that has a bath with overhead mixer tap shower, basin and toilet.

The courtyard garden offers a perfect retreat to enjoy breakfast or a barbeque and is equipped with a large patio table that seats 8.

First Floor:
There are two lovely double bedrooms on the first floor. Both are furnished with double beds, beside cabinets and dressing tables. One has a standard wardrobe with hanging space and two drawers and the other small wardrobe with hanging space only

Second Floor:
he twin bedroom has a chest of drawers, bedside table and a peg rail for hanging clothes.

he single bedroom has a single trundle bed, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers and peg rail for hanging clothes.

There is a shower room with walk in shower, small basin and wc.

Parking

There is no private parking at this property. Un-restricted free parking can be found on street in the conservation areas, Nelson Road and Cornwallis Circle (subject to spaces available on the day).
Alternatively you can use the Pay & Display car parks in the town centre charged between 10am and 9pm at a cost of £1.20 per hour (excludes short term at Harbour & Oyster car park).
Alternatively you can use JustPark.com where you can pre book a space on a private driveway.

RENTAL PERIODS: Weekly rentals from Saturday - Saturday during school holidays. Weekend and mid-week breaks available in low and shoulder seasons.

PRICE INCLUDES: Winter Heating, WiFi and all utilities
