Fabulous spacious family home

 

 

"Six of us stayed at Westgate House over a long weekend. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for us all to relax in the spacious well equipped kitchen or in front of the wood-burning stove in the living room. We were five minutes away from the beach and near lots of lovely pubs and restaurants. The highlight was a meal at the Michelin starred Sportsman - just fantastic and the staff were so friendly. "We've just spent 4 nights at Westgate House with two other couples. The property is well located, spacious and comfortable. As it was cold whilst we were there we appreciated the central heating and wood burning stove. Parking is on street but we found a space right outside and didn't need to move our car again. Everything in Whitstable was within walking distance and it's easy to travel further afield by bus and train. Whitstable is a lovely town, plenty to see and do. We enjoyed pre dinner drinks at the Old Neptune on the beach. Our favourite restaurant was Samphire where we had one lunch and two evening meals. Last, but not least, it was good to be met on arrival by Gail instead of a key safe. A lovely personal touch." D Tyas
 

 

Accommodation Details

This stylish 5 bedroom Victorian mid-terrace house has been beautifully decorated throughout. With a spacious lounge, cosy snug, conservatory, large kitchen/diner, 5 good size bedrooms (4 ensuite) and sunny enclosed garden, Westgate House is the perfect holiday home for family and friends.

The house is only a few minutes walk from the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants.

Ground Floor:
The entrance hall leads you to stylish lounge with woodburner,  large 3 seat leather sofa, 2 seat leather sofa, 2 occasional chairs, Free Sat TV and DVD player.

There is a separate snug room with L-shaped sofa with TV and DVD player - perfect for the kids to chill out in.

The very large kitchen is fully equipped throughout and has a large gas range cooker and American fridge/freezer, dishwasher and table and chairs for up to 8 people.

The kitchen leads to a utility room, downstairs wc and lovely conservatory with Lloyd Loom furniture - perfect for afternoon tea. 

There is an enclosed sunny garden laid to lawn with deck area and patio furniture.

First Floor:
Master Bedroom: Beautifully decorated and furnished with a stunning king size antique brass bed, dressing table, large chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe and bedside tables. There is an ensuite shower room with wc.

Bedroom 2: Stylishly decorated and furnished with double antique brass bed, large wardrobe with handing space and drawers and bedside table. There is an ensuite shower room and wc.

Bedroom 3: Beautifully decorated and furnished with a double antique brass bed, large wardrobe with hanging space and drawers and bedside table. The bedroom is connected to a bathroom with small bath and mixer tap, and wc.

Second Floor:
Bedroom 4: Charming children's bedroom with 2ft single antique brass bed, large wardrobe with hanging space and drawers, bedside table and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 5: Gorgeous twin bedroom beautifully decorated with standard single antique brass beds and chest of drawers. There is an ensuite shower room and wc.

 

 

 

Maximum Occupancy

8 adults & 1 child

The number of people using the holiday property is not to exceed the maximum number stated. This includes entertaining friends who are not on the guest list over to the property during your stay without prior consent from the Owner. Whitstable Holiday Homes and the Owner reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if the maximum number is not observed and in such a case no refund will be given.
Children under 2 years are not counted for this purpose.

 

Restrictions

This is a strictly non-smoking property and pets are not allowed.

As per our Booking Conditions we ask all guests to be respectful of the neighbours, as all of the holiday homes are located in residential areas. We are aware that you may be celebrating a special event during your stay, but ask again that you are respectful of local residents especially with regard to noise levels.
Please also note that we do not accept hen or stag parties, or same sex groups at this property.

RENTAL PERIODS: Weekly rentals from Friday - Friday during school holidays. Weekend and mid-week breaks available in low and shoulder seasons.

PRICE INCLUDES: Winter Heating, WiFi and all utilities

PRICE EXCLUDES: Optional Linen and Towel hire - 1 bedroom £20, 2 bedrooms £30, 3 bedrooms £40, 4 bedrooms £50, 5 bedrooms £60 - Logs for woodburner £20

A REFUNDABLE CAUTIONARY DEPOSIT OF £150 IS REQUIRED 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL - PLEASE REFER TO THE BOOKING CONDITIONS FOR FULL DETAILS.
