"We had a most enjoyable long weekend in Whitstable made even more special with our accommodation at Spray Cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with a very spacious living area and is beautifully decorated. The bathroom/shower rooms were particularly well finished and, unusually for a holiday let, each of the three bedrooms had its own shower room, with two being en-suite. In addition, there is a downstairs cloakroom making a total of four 'loos'! The lounge/dining/kitchen is all open plan with comfortable seating and dining facilities. The master bedroom has stunning views over the sea with super fitted window seats. There is a delightful outside space at the rear providing a perfect sunny breakfast area.The cottage is extremely well sited for access to bars, restaurants and shopping and, of course, the beach. My friends and I would have no hesitation in booking Spray Cottage again."  F Mulhall

 
 

 

Accommodation Details

This end of terrace house is situated on Marine Terrace near the Old Neptune Pub and enjoys wonderful sea views from the master bedroom. It is within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants.

This spacious seaside home has been tastefully decorated throughout and has just recently undergone an extensive renovation with a wonderful spacious kitchen and new bathroom and ensuites. The work is due to be completed by the end of November 2016 and we will then be posting more photos of the new rooms.

Ground Floor:

The entrance hall leads you to the spacious lounge and dining area. It is furnished with two comfy sofas, side tables, TV with DVD player and You View, and wood-burning stove.

The dining area has a dining table and 6 chairs and dresser for storage. 

The newly added kitchen provides a large space for both cooking and entertaining with breakfast bar and sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped with built in oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and freezer. Bifold doors lead you to a courtyard garden which is paved with raised beds.

There is a downstairs cloakroom with wc and small basin.  

First Floor:
The spacious master bedroom enjoys stunning sea views and has a king size bed, chest of drawers, hanging rail and a large window seat for you to relax and watch the sea. There is a new shower ensuite and loo with a view!

The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds, bedside table and hanging rail.

The newly appointed bathroom has a walk in shower, bath, basin and wc and is now accessed from the first floor landing.

Second Floor:

New standard stairs take you to the redesigned attic bedroom. This now has two single beds, chest of drawers and wooden hanging rails. Three new velux windows also give you wonderful sea views and there is now an ensuite shower room with basin and wc.  

 

 

Dog Policy

Small/medium size dogs are considered at the owners discretion for an additional fee of £15. However, under no circumstances are dogs permitted upstairs or on the sofa or chairs. Dogs must not be left unattended in properties, or elsewhere and should be exercised outside the property gardens or grounds.  If you do not adhere to these conditions, some of the cautionary deposit may be retained by the owner.

RENTAL PERIODS: Weekly rentals from Friday to Friday during school holidays. Weekend and mid-week breaks available in low and shoulder seasons.

PRICE INCLUDES: Linen for weekly rentals. Winter Heating, WiFi and all utilities

PRICE EXCLUDES: Optional Linen hire for 6 nights or less - 1 bedroom £15, 2 bedrooms £25, 3 bedrooms £35 (BYO Towels) - Dog Board £15
