Stunning apartment - perfect for one or two couples
"We recently stayed in 4 Knots Yard ; this property is a central gem of an apartment, with everything you need to make your holiday a wonderful experience. Whitstable itself is a thriving town with loads of independent shops and eateries, which offers you so much choice if you want to eat out. However the lovely accommodation drew us to staying in too, and we particularly favoured the lovely comfortable bed on the mezzanine. We had seven nights of blissful sleep, this is virtually up chartered territory for us, as there is never a bed as comfortable as your own at home, but this holiday, we have now proved that theory wrong. The fixtures and fittings are tastefully chosen and the whole ambiance of the building is welcoming and warm. Thank you for a wonderful holiday experience, and your attention to detail." J Griffiths

"We've just come back from a fantastic week at 4 Knots Yard during the Oyster Festival. As a small family of three (8 yearold child) proximity to the crabbing/shopping/eating hotspots were important, but equally peace and quiet when we returned home to relax (in the double height living room). The apartment is fresh and modern, oddly cosy, and had everything we needed. Private parking is a massive bonus, but there's also a bike locker (bring your own lock). 4 Knots Yard is located in the heart of Whitstable's town centre, just a few minutes walk from the beach and harbour. This immaculate luxury 2 bedroom apartment is furnished to an exceptionally high standard with comfortable, stylish modern furniture complementing the high ceilings and original large windows. The apartment is split over two levels which gives a real feeling of space and light with the large double height windows being a striking feature of the sitting room.
The apartment is reached via communal stairs to the first floor. The hallway leads down four steps to the spacious main living room with its high ceilings and gorgeous large original window. There are two comfortable two-seater sofas and an extendable 6 seat pine table. The lounge also has a 40 inch LCD Smart TV with internet connectivity.
Leading off the living area is a very well equipped contemporary kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, hob and built in cooker and fridge/freezer.
At the other end of the living area is a bathroom with modern white suite, comprising bath with shower over, wash hand basin, WC, shaver point and large heated wall-mounted stainless steel towel rail.
The main bedroom can be found up seven further carpeted stairs from the hallway to the mezzanine above with glass balustrade which overlooks the living area. This lovely room has a faux leather king-size bed with a luxury 1500 pocket-sprung mattress, cream/beige linen, complementing modern fitted wardrobes and bedside tables with lamps. There is also a wall-mounted 32" LCD TV in this cream carpeted bedroom. A large mirror and wall up lighters complete the scene. The bedroom also benefits from an en-suite shower room with large contemporary walk-in shower, white wash hand basin and WC, shaver point and stainless steel heated towel rail.
