This fantastic 6 bedroom detached house is located on Tankerton Road, just a stone's throw from the beach at Tankerton Slopes and within a 10 minute walk of Whitstable's harbour, shops and restaurants.
Oyster House offers spacious accommodation for up to 12
guests and a stunning Orangery perfect for entertaining and relaxing
with family and friends. There is also the benefit of a second lounge
which makes an ideal pad for the kids to chill or play in, as well as a
lovely enclosed garden.
The wonderful feature of Oyster House is its large entertaining area.The hallway leads you through to an open planned lounge and Orangery.
The lounge has two 3-seater sofas, a feature gas fireplace, a piano for you to enjoy, as well as Sky TV. This leads you through to the fabulous and light Orangery that overlooks the garden to the rear of the property. There you can relax with a coffee on a 3 seater sofa, or dine at the 11 seater dining table.
The Orangery then leads you through to the large fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, American style fridge/freezer, separate freezer and range dual fuel cooker. There is also a utility room that houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is a downstairs bathroom with bath and overhead shower and separate wc.
At the front of the house is a large family room with a 2-seater sofa, occasional chair and large bay window seat. There is a stereo, TV with Freeview box, DVD player and lots of space to chill or play.
FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: This spacious bedroom overlooks the garden at the back of the house and has a kingsize wrought iron bed, large wardrobe, dressing table and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 2:This bedroom is at the front of the
property and has the benefit of a charming enclosed balcony area to sit
and relax in, as well as lots of natural light and space. There is king

Bedroom 3: A double room overlooking the garden at the back of the house with a standard double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. (Picture to follow)
Bedroom 4: A single bedroom with standard single bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers located at the front of the house.(Picture to follow)
Family Bathroom:The bathroom has a separate shower walk in shower cubicle, bath, basin and wc. (Picture to follow)
SECOND FLOOR:
Bedroom 5: This charming bedroom has a double and single bed and is located in the eaves of the house. It has a small wardrobe, chest of drawers and small sofa.
Bedroom 6: A good size twin bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers.
GARDEN:
The house has a large driveway at the front of the house which caters for up to 4 cars.
The garden to the rear of the property is mainly laid to lawn with lovely flower borders. It is enjoys lots of sun, has a patio table and 6 chairs and lots of space for the kids to play.
RENTAL PERIOD: Weekly rentals run from Friday-Friday during school holidays. Weekend and short breaks are available during low and shoulder seasons.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: 12 + Infant
The number of people using the holiday property is not to exceed the maximum number stated in the property description on our website. This includes entertaining friends who are not on the guest list over to the property during your stay without prior consent from the Owner. Whitstable Holiday Homes Ltd and the Owner reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if the maximum number is not observed and in such a case no refund will be given. Children under 2 years are not normally counted for this purpose. We ask all guests to be respectful of the neighbours, as all of the holiday homes are located in residential areas. We are aware that you may be celebrating a special event during your stay, but ask again that you are respectful of local residents especially with regard to noise levels and disruption. Please also note that we do not accept hen or stag parties.
RESTRICTIONS: This is a strictly non-smoking property.
DOG POLICY: Dogs are welcome for an additional fee of £15. However, under no circumstances are dogs permitted upstairs, in the bedrooms, or allowed to lie on the bedding or chairs. Dogs must not be left unattended in properties, or elsewhere and should be exercised outside the property gardens or grounds. Please note that cats and other pets are not permitted in any holiday homes without prior consent from the owner.If you do not adhere to these conditions, some of the cautionary deposit may be retained by the owner.
